Home Safety Check Program
The residential Home Safety Check program, is a voluntary option to help residents prevent fires. This program is designed to reduce the number and severity of fires in the Drexel Heights Community. It also aides in updating the below safety devices which are recommended for replacement every 10 years. Supporting partnerships for this program include Pima County Community Development Block Grant and The Lauren Project.
The program includes the following safety devices:
- Free in home fire safety assessments.
- One free smoke alarm upgrade and installation.
- One free fire extinguisher with training.
- One free carbon monoxide installation.
